Inspection 78-01 This refers to the inspection conducted by Ms. M. Campbell of this office on August 24, 1978 at the Garden State Paper Company, Garfield, New Jersey of activities authorized by.your NRC General License and to the discussions of our findings held by Ms. Campbell with Mr. G. Conboy of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection, and to a subsequent telephone discussion between Ms. Campbell of this office and yourself on August 29, 1978.
i The inspection was.an examination of activities conducted under your NRC General License as they relate to compliance with the NRC's Regulation f
10 CFR 150'" Exemptions and Continued Regulatory Authority in Agreement States under Section 274." The inspection consisted of selective exam-inations of procedures, interviews with personnel, measurements made by the inspector and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no items of noncompliance were observed.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the Public Document Room.
