Dear Mr. Thompson:
This is in reference to Control No. 10G854.
All access ports of our neutron source enclosure (neutron howitzer) have been fitted with solid polyethylene plugs, as discussed with your inspector at your last inspection of our facility.
Please be advised that we have moved our radioactive sources to the storage closet adjacent to the fume hood in the laboratory Jeawing currently on file with your office.
The door to this closet is being fitted-with a special lock, so that access will be limited to the individuals named in our current license application, and Radioactive Haterials warning markers have been placed on the outside of the door to this closet and on an interior wall directly above the source storage containers.
This storage location is temporaLy, while building renovations are in progrecs.
The renovations will provide a
new storage facility similar to the old one that is described in the drawings you have.
