Dear Mr. Grimsley:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act 5 U.S.C. Sec. 552, I am requesting access to your files concerning the purchase, shipment, distribution, installation and removal of asbestos and asbestos-containing products at the various nuclear powerhouses in the State of Connecticut, namely, Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Power Plant and Millstone Nuclear power Plants, Units 1, 2 and 3, for the time period from January 1, 1966 through December 31, 1975.
I am seeking disclosure of these reports on behalf of many of the workers who were exposed to these products and who have been injured by this exposure.
If there are any fees for searching for or copying the reports I have requested, please inform me before you fill the request.
I am requesting this information because the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is responsible for monitoring compliance with rules and regulations concerning construction of nuclear power plants applicable to the aforementioned plants.

Disclosure of this information serves the public interest in that disclosure protects the health and welfare of these workers and those in similarly situated positions.
