AFFIDAVIT OF MARY WELLS OF CAROLINA ACTION Mary Wells, being first duly sworn, deposes and says: My name is Mary Wells.
I live at 2416 Barry St., Charlotte, North Carolina.
I am a member of Carolina Action. At a Citywide Board Meeting of Carolina Action on Sept. 20, 1978, at 1740 E. Independence Blvd.
in Charlotte, I served as Chairperson, and hereby make official note that the following resolution was unanimously _ adopted:
e Carolina Action is a statewide citizens action group.
Paymetitcof ten dollars membership dues signifys a person's membership status in the organization. Affiliate Neighborhood Organizations and their members are the. makeup of Carolina Action.
i The Thomasboro-Hoskins Action Group is an affilitate of Carolina Action. The neighborhood is in Charlotte and boarders along I-85, the route of Duke Power's requested shipment of waste from Oconee Station to McGuire Station. Ed Maynor is one member of Carolina Action who lives in the Thomasaoro neighborhood. He i
lives at 4226 Rochelle Lane which is one block from I-85.
Carolina Action seeks Intervenor status in U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission proceedings on the Matter of:
DUKE POWER C0.-- Amendment to Materials Lisence SNM-1773 for Oconee -- McGuire Spent Fuel Transportation.
