Reference:
NRC Letter dated November 2,1987 from Marshall Grotenhuis to L. D. Butterfield regarding 10CFR 73:55 Amendments.
Enclosed is the original and three (3) copies of Revision 23 of the Security Plan for Dresden Nuclear Power Station.
All amendment items will be implemented upon receipt of the NRC approval notification with the following exceptions:
A)
Vitalization of the Backup Power Supply - Implemented within 180 days after NRC approval.
B)
Manual logging when card key access is not functional - Implemented within 180 days after NRC approval.
C)
Revocation of facility access badges and other entry devices prior to or simultaneously upon notification of termination - Implemented within 180 days after NRC approval.
D)
Key and lock change out program due to an individual's lack of trustworthiness, reliability or inadequate work performance -
Implemented within 90 days after NRC approval.
We have concluded that these changes do not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan.
These enclosures contain Safeguards Information which must be protected from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
