Cable Separation Criteria and Non-Class IE Lighting Systems A. Changes in FSAR Amendments 62 and 68 regarding separation i criteria and how these criteria are being implemented at CPSES.

B. Extent of the use of implementation of the one-inch separa-tion criteria and method used to establish extent.

C. Changes in Amendment 66 regarding the reclassified Non-Class 1E lighting systems and electrical isolation provisions (configuration) and cable routing criteria for the Non-class 1E AC essential lighting system, pressurizer heaters, diesel generator ,

neutral grounding, and other associated circuits. '

D. Installations with Class 1E and Non-class 1E cables routed in the same cable tray or conduit. For such installations, provisions used by TV Electric to assure adequate physical separation require-n.ents are maintained.

E. Status of TV Electric's responses to open items on electrical j separation in NRC Inspection Report 50-445/87-37; 50-446/87-28  :

regarding NRC inspection of CPSES design validation packages.  !

IV. Cable Splices and Termination Drawings i

A. Changes in FSAR Amendments 60 and 68 regarding cable splices and l how criteria are being applied at CPSES.

B. Status of analyses demonstrating adequacy of groups (categories) i of cable splices for which an analysis has yet not been docketed; '

such as:

1. splices inside equipment enclosures, l
2. splices in junction / terminal boxes furnished as an integral part of an equipment,
3. vendor-furnished splices not in raceways,
4. pre-insulated environmental seal (PIES) seals not in panels.

E. How TV Electric is ensuring that drawings accurately reflect plant as-built conditions, including spare or spared (abandoned in place) conductors, terminations, splices, and exact vs functional correctness.

V. Cable Pulling and Cable Tray / Conduit Fill A. TV Electric position on abandoning pulling aids such as ropes and fish tape. ,

8. Concerns with u:e of Anaconda cable and Yellow-77 cable pulling lubricant and actions taken or being taken by TV Electric to address concerns. ,'

C. Actions undertaken ano determination made relative to the acceptability of installed electrical cable concerns re-flected in NRC Inspection Report 50-446/87-12(8712-U-04) and TV Electric reports SDAR CP-86-71 CAR-093 and STIR E-002.

D. TU Electric's criteria and bases for establishing percent cable fill for cable trays and conduits.
