Dear Mr. Mueller:

This letter confirms a revised date for a Pre-decisional Enforcement Conference that

was originally scheduled for March 10,1997. The new date and time for the meeting are

March 19,1997, at 1:00 p.m. This meeting will be held at the NRC Region ill Office in

Lisle, lilinois. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss apparent violations identified in

NRC Inspection Report No. 50-295/96021(DRS); 50-304/96021(DRS) regarding

radioactive material transportation and to discuss plans to improve the general radiation j

protection performance and the radiological condition of the Zion plant. The meeting will

be open to public observation. l
