CONFIRMATORY ACTION LETTER 1-97-011, ERRATA
Dear Mr. Ross:
The purpose of this letter is to clarify one item and to correct another item in our March 12,1997, Confirmatory Action Letter that was transmitted to you via facsimile on March 13,1997. Thank you for bringing these to our attention.
Weakness 4 in the first paragraph is revised to read, "4) the Emergency Operations Facility staff did not assess, and discuss with offsite officials, the need for protective action recommendations for residents outside the 10-mile emergency planning zone when do-se projections appeared to indicate that protective action guidelines would be exceeded." The reason for this revision is to state clearly what the Emergency Operations Facility staff did not do.
Additionally, the second to the last line in paragraph 1 is revised to read "...but did not identify weaknesses.3_ and 4 above..." The reason for this revision is to correct an error made during our aditing of the letter.
