Commission Q's on IMPEP Dick, You may recall that the Chairman, on behalf of Commissioner Dicus, asked whether, if the GAO came in and did another audit today, they would find the same concerns or would in contrast find that we had fixed the problems identified in the earlier audit.
Hugh is requesting that OSP, with the help of other offices as necessary, go back to the GAO audit and do a check on whether his answer at the meeting is essentially correct,
- namely, that GAO would find we had indeed successfully addressed the GAO concerns.
My sense is that this is not meant to be an exhaustive and time-consuming project, but more like a brief review of what the GAO found and how our IMPEP process measures up in terms of responding to the GAO findings.
