STATEMENT OF WORK

Title:

Keying of Occupational Radiation Exposure Infonnation

Background

10 CFR Part 20.408 requires the reporting of identification and exposure infomation to the NRC by certain licensees when monitored individuals teminate their employment or work assignment at the licensee's facility.

Since the information is not reported in a standard fomat, it must be coded prior to being keyed onto computer tape. This allows the data to be compiled into the NRC's computer system, Radiation Exposure Infomation & Reporting System (REIRS). This system has been maintained at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory for the past 18 years.

WORK TO BE PERFORMED The contractor will key the infomation contained in approxirately 100,000 records submitted during 1982,1983 and 1984 onto regnetic tape.

Each record consists of about 80 bytes. The information to be keyed is not on ADP transcription sheets but is coded on the source document by the use of hand-written alpha-numeric codes. The contractor will utilize a,n existing program that will prompt the keyentry operators to enter the coded-infomation (there are some 40 different codes) in the proper order on ragnetic Mpe. The format should be such that the data can'be compiled into REIRS without further ranipulation.

DELIVERABLES & TIMETABLE A ragnetic tape (as specified below) having all coded infomation entered in a forrat compatible with that of the data naintained in REIRS will be delivered to the Computing & Telecomunications Division ~ of Martin Marietta Energy Syster:ts at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, within two weeks after the receipt of the raterial to be keyed .

by the contractor.
