Dear Mr. Carns:
l By letters dated July 28, 1994; and November 8,1995, Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) applied for amendments to the Millstone Nuclear Power Station, 4
Unit 1, Operating License No. DPR-21. The change proposed in the July 28, 1994, letter would have modified the facility, technical specifications pertaining to seismic capability of the faedwher coolant injection system.
The change proposed in the. November 8,1996 i;tter would have modified the facility technical specifications for'the jet pu'mps"in order to make.the

Dear Mr. Carns:
i By letters dated July 28, 1994, and November 8, 1995, Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) applied for amendments to the Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1, Operating License No. DPR-21. The change proposed in the July 28, 1994, letter would have modified the facility technical specifications pertaining to seismic capability of the feedwater coolant injection system.
The change proposed in the November 8,1995, letter would have modified the facility technical specifications for the jet pumps in order to make the technical specifications consistent with those in the NRC's Standard Technical Specifications for General Electric Plants (NUREG-1433). Subsequently, by letter dated February 27, 1997, you withdrew these amendment requests.
The Commission has filed the enclosed Notice of Withdrawal of Applications for Amendments to Facility Operating License with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
