Reference:
NRC Letter dated October 6,1987 f rom Jan A. Norris to L. D. Butterfield regarding 10CFR 73:55 Amendments.
Enclosed is the original and three (3) copies of Revision 18 of the Security Plan for Zion Nuclear Power Station.
All amendment items will be implemented upon receipt of the NRC approval notification with the following exceptions:
A)
Manual logging when card key access is not functional - Implemented within 180 days af ter NRC approval.
B)
Revocation of facility access badges and other entry devices prior to or simultaneously upon notification of termination - Implemented within 180 days after NRC approval.
C)
Key and lock change sut program due to an individual's lack of trustworthiness, reliability or inadequate work performance -
Implemented within 90 days after NRC approval.
We have concluded that these changes do not decrease the safeguaros effectiveness of the plan.
These enclosures contain Safeguards Information which must be protected from public disclosure pursuant to 10CFR 73.21.
