As mentioned in both the ACRS Subcommittee and ACRS Full Committee meetings for Erie Units 1 & 2, Ohio Edison Company has recently undergone a major reorganization. Due to the changes developed by this reorganization much of the PSAR organization information on which the SER vas based is no longer valid. Although Ohio Edison Company vill be updating the PSAR to include the changes which have taken place, it is not convenient to do so at this time since te tote reorganization is not complete.

The intent of this letter and the enclosed diagram, therefore, is to supply the Staff with the pertinent information concerning Ohio Edison Company's present organitation.

Senior Vice-President (Engineering and Construction) has responsi-bility for all engineering and construction activities. Vice-President (Generating Plant Engineering and Construction) has responsibility for gener-ating plant engineering and construction and reports to the Senior Vice-President (Engineering and Construction).

The Manager, Erie Nuclear Plant Project is responsible for the timely and economic completion of this project; coordinates, and directs where appropriate, the planning and execution of prcject responsibilities assigned to Company departments, consultants, suppliers and contractors; obtains necessary licenses and permits; and has general charge of the Company's construction site organization.

Senior Vice-President (Generating Plant and Transmission System Operations) vill have responsibility for the operation of the plant.
