Regulatory Guide 3.8. Revision 1, " Preparation of Environmental Reports for Uranium Mills.* identifies'information needed by the tRC staff in its assessment of the potential environmental effects.of a proposed uranium mill and directly associated activities and establishes a format acceptable to the staff for its presentation.

Comments and suggestions from the public in connection with improvements in all guides are encouraged at any time. Public comments on Regulatory Guide 3.8. Revision 1, will, however, be particularly useful in evaluating l

the need for an early revision if received within 2 months of the date of r

th'.s guide.
