1988, the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts served, by Federal Express, upon the parties herein, "Attorney General James M.
Shannon's Motion for Directed Certification of the November 16 and 18, 1987 Atomic Safety and Licensina Board Rulinas Concernina the Admissibility of Certain_ Evidence. "
Under applicable rules of procedure, the Applicants' response to this motion would be due to be filed on or before January 19, 1988.
The Parties are engaged in hearings before the Licensing Board in Concord, N.H.
during the week of January 11, 1988 and January 18, 1988 is a holiday.
This means that from the time of the motion's receipt, on January 8,
