SUBJECT:
EXEMPTION TO 10 CFR 0.735-21 I have reviewed your Confidential Statement of Employment and Financial Interests (Form-269) and note that you report, as a former employee of Aerojet-General Corporation, a vested interest in their pension plan.
In order to allow you to work on NRC matters involving Aerojet-General Corporation, an exemption from the provisions of 10 CFR 0.735-21 must be-granted.
The Office of the General Counsel has reviewed' the terms of the Aerojet-General Corporation's pension fund-and determin'ed that, as an NRC employee, you cannot influence in any' fashion, the amount you receive as a pension f rom Aarojet-General. Corporation.
Based upon.this finding, I have determined that your interest in the Aerojet-General Corporation's pension fund is not so substantial as to be deemed likely to affect the integrity of your services to NRC and that no provision of law and no NRC regulation would appear to be violated by your participation in NRC matters af fecting Aerojet-General Corporation.
Therefore, with the concurrence of the Office of the General Counsel, you are hereby granted an exemption f rom the requirements of 10 CFR 0.735-21 and you may participate in matters before the NRC affecting Aerojet-General Corporation.
