Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act I
request the following information:
A list of regulatory guides and othat regulatory documents that pertain to the protection and hardening of electronics at nuclear power plants from lightning induced voltage transients.
To
- include, but not be limited to, those regulatory guides and other regulatory documents that establish the design basis (magnitude and duration) lightning induced voltage transients at the various stagen of the electrical systems.
A list of NUREGs, NUREG/CRs and other NRC technical documents that pertain to the protection and hardening of electronics at nuclear power plants from lightning induced voltage transients.
To include, but not be limited to, those documents that contain measurements or significant estimates of the the distribution of voltage wi'.h time for lightning induced voltage transients in the various stages of the electrical systems.
A list of other documents that are significant in establishing the technical basis for protection and hardening of of electronics at nuclear power plants from voltage transients caused by lightening, particularly those documents that contain records or significant estimates of the actual voltage transients in power lines caused by lightning strikes.
This should include but not be limited to, technical and regulatory documents produced by other government agencies and to documents produced by industry groups.
