Updating NARUC Membership Pamphlet
Dear Chairman:
Please have a member of your staff make any changes necessary in the enclosed draft of our membership listing for your agency to reflect the current status of the names and titles of commissioners and principal staff members, abbreviated biographies of commissioners, addresses, telephone, facsimile, e-mail and home page numbers, method of commissioner selection, terms, and staff size. If you, and your fellow commissioners have not already done so, please send in a photo.
A commissioner's abbreviated biography should show: political affiliation, if any; date and place of birth; college education and degrees obtained; previous occupations and government offices held; initial date of assuming commissionership and date on which current term ends; and marital status, name of spouse and number of children, if any.
Also, please have someone review the list of your staff members assigned to NARUC staff subcommittees and advise me of any who have departed your agency.
Please return the enclosure (by mail or facsimile) approved as is, or with your changes, along with the names of any departed staff subcommittee members, by Friday, January 24, 1997. If facsimile is used, please mail the original for better legibility.
Thanks for your help!
