NOTICE OF EXPIRED LICENSE This refers to the telephone discussion between Mr. J. Davis of this office and'yourself on October 16, 1978.

NRC, records show that.the Byproduct Material License identified above has expired and no renewal application has been filed in accordance with Section 3".37 of Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 30.

From our scussion with you we learned that you do not have any byproduct material .n your possession. Therefore, you must take the following actions:

A copy of the letter forwarding the application to the licensing branch (but not the application) should be sent to Region I, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, 631 Park Avenue, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, l 19406, ATTN: Mr. R. O. McClintock, Chief, Materials Radiological Pro- l tection Section Fuel Facility and Materials Safety Branch. l Since your present license has expired, your application for renewal l will be processed as a request for a new license. Acccrdingly, you must determine if your program is subject to a license fee under Section 170.31 of 10 CFR Part 170 and, if one is required, you must submit- the appropriate fee along with the application.
