Sjogren TELEP110NE (617) 366-9011 X2281 REPORT MONTil November 1978 SUSBIARY OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES At the beginning of the month, the plant was operating at s97% reactor power limited by the 864 MWe maximum load permitted on the low pressure turbine blading. On November 8 and 9 a load reduction to 80% was performed to repair a steam leak on the "A" MSR manway gasket and to repair the divider plate in the "C" MSR.

On November 12 and again on November 27, load reductions to 80% were required to plug two leaking condenser tubes in the "A" waterbox and one tube in the "B" waterbox.

During routine surveillance testing of the RPS system on November 28, a problem developed in the "AC" logic matrix which caused a plant trip f rcm 97% power. All systems responded normally to the trip and the plant was back at full load by 22:20 hrs. on the following day.

Investigations are still underway to determine the actual cause of the trip.

The plant remained at essentially full load for the remainder of.the month.
