Dresden Station Unit 1 Monthly Progress Report as Required by Amendment No. 23 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-2 NRC Docket No. 50-10
Dear Mr. Ziemann:
As required in Amendment No. 23 dated January 6, 1978 to Facility Operating License DPR-2 for Dresden Station Unit 1, we are transmitting the September 1978 monthly report on progress towards completion of our scheduled ECCS, IEEE-279 and fire protection modifications including related activities which could affect these projects such as the decontamination program.
HPCI The HPCI building roof is now complete.
The outer walls of the valve house and penetration structure were poured.
Good progress was also made on the north electrical duct run.
These jobs had been delayed somewhat by a shortage of concrete.
The electrical installation has started and a purchase requisition was issued for the thermal shock reanalysis.
The expected operational date for the HPCI system is 11/1/79.
IEEE-279 The motor control center vendor's prints and pro-l cedures have been reviewed and returned to him with minor comments.
There are no major problems foreseen with approval of the drawings and procedures by early November.
Most of the j
Limitorque valve operators are on the site.
It is expected the j
electrical penetration will be on the site during November.
