It is requested license be amended as indicated 'on the attached revised.that the page I-5.45 to permit similar storage of other fuel forms awaiting shipment.

A check in the amount of $150.00 is enclosed as the application fee for the requested amendment in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 170.31.

shall be a closed system with liquid waste being pumped to and from the closed tanks.

The quarantine tank area shall be en-closed by a four-inch high curb to contain any leaks that may occur in the interconn'ecting piping or flanges. This array e

of tanks shalL.be surrounded by barriers sufficient to guard them from vehicular damage.

Depleted etch and scrap bath solutions, after analysis for uranium and upon rel' ease, shall be pumped to a neutralization tan'k in the tank area on the west side of the UO Building for 2

5.9.3 Retention Tanks In the unlikely' event of an inadvertent release that would cause liquid waste containing elevated levels of uranium to l

be diverted to the retention tanks for interim storage, the retention tank shall then be identified, posted and controlled as a Radioactive Materials Area.

5.9.4 Packaged Fuel _**

Packaged fuel ** awaiting shipment shall be stored either in the warehouse or on a paved area outside of the UO, Build-j ing.
