The Nuclear Energy Tribal Working Group (NETWG) appreciated your participation at our January 2020 meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz. As you recall, during the meeting NETWG discussed a variety of topics including the Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) outreach efforts and consultation initiatives directed at tribal governments. The group shared concerns about NRCs notification processes about the Paper Reduction Act and NRCs approach for contacting select tribes via phone without any effort for advanced notice.
