A reactor trip occurred as a result of a dropped control ~ rod. A short existed in the containment electrical penetration for the control rod stationary and movable coil and caused the control rod to drop.

'Ihe following major safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of February.

1.

Miscellaneous corrective and preventive maintenance was performed on diesel generators.
