NRC INSPECTION REPORT N05. 50-445/92-29; 50-446/92-29
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. L. T. Ricketson of this office
on July 27-31, 1992. The inspection included a review of activities
authorized for your Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2.
At
the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those
members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. The
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.
During this inspection, it was found that certain of-your activities were in
violation of NRC requirements. However, in accordance with Section VII(B)(1)
of the NRC's Enforcement Policy, no citation is being issued for the violation
described in paragraph 3.1.5 of the enclosed inspection report.
We have also examined actions you have taken with regard to a previously
identified inspection finding.
The status of this item is identified in
paragraph 2 of the enclosed report.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of
this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
