The contractor hereby waives their right to a 60 day preliminary notice for the exercise of the second option year.

The purpose of this modification is to: (1) exercise the second option year in accordance with Section B.3(4) and I.3. (2) extend the period of performance.

and (3) increase the contract ceiling and obligated amounts by $287.526 from

$838.513 to $1.126.039.

Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as folleas:

1.

Under Section B.4. Consideration and Obligation, paragraphs a. and

d. are deleted in their entirety and the folloaing paragraphs are substituted in lieu thereof:

"a.

The total estimated cost to the Government for full performance of NRC's portion of this contract (Base period + option year 1 + option year 2) is $1.126.039 of which the amount of $1.072.418 represents the estimated reimbursable costs, and the amount of $53.621 represents the fixed fee.

d.

The amount currently obligated by the Governaent for NRC's portion of the dark is $1.126.039."

2.

In accordance with Section I.3. " Option to Extend the Term of the Contract." Section F.5, Duration of Contract Period is revised as follows:

"Although the Government contemplates use of the system (s)

(harddare and software) for the system's life of 5 years from date of installation, the term of this contract is from 8/5/94 through 8/4/98.

The period of performance may be extended at the option of the government for an additional one-year option period."

All other terms and conditions of the subject contract remain unchanged.

A summary.of obligations, from the date of award through the date of this action, are as follows:
