CLOSURE OF CONFIRMATORY ACTION LETTER 1-97-012 AND ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE REPORT
Dear Mr. Saage:
This refers to your letter dated March 31,1997, in response to our Confirmatory Action Letter (CAL) 1-97-012, dated March 14,1997 and the issuance of License No. 31-23847-01E on April 29,1997. Based on your response letter and the subsequent actions by NRC to authorize distribution of tritium timepieces, the NRC has found that the conditions necessitating the CAL have been satisfactorily addressed.
No further response is required regarding the OAL.
i We are also enclosing a copy of the report for the enforcement conference held on May 15,1997 concerning the violation noted during our March 12,1997 inspection. You will be informed of our decision concerning enforcement action in the near future.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
