SUBJECT:
MODIFICATION NO. 3 TO TASK ORDER NO. 8 ENTITLED " REVIEW OF CRITICAllTY ASPECTS OF THE DOE TOPICAL REPORT RELATED TO BURNUP FOR THE MULTI-PURPOSE CANISTER" UNDER CONTRACT NO.
NRC-03-95 003 The purpose of this modification is to: (1) extend the expiration date of the subject task order from " September 30, 1997" to " March 30, 1998" at no additional cost or obligation to the Government and (2) 9stablish a deliverable schedule for Subtask 2.
The extension is to allow the contractor to complete the requirements of Subtask 2 and submit the required deliverables to the NRC.
Under Section 5.0 entitled " Schedule / Deliverables " of the Statement of Work to the subject task order, the paragraph entitled " Subtask 2" is deleted in
-its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:
" Subtask 2 I
A draft final report shall be submitted to the NRC for review on or before December 15, 1997.
NRC will review the draft final report and provide comments to the contractor by January 17, 1998. A final report shall be submitted to the NRC on or before february 27. 1998."
In accordance with Section G 4(c) of the subject contract entitled " Task Order Award " this letter definitizes Hodification No. 3 to the subject task order.
The second paragraph, first sentence of the definitization letter for 1 basic task order is deleted in its entirety and the following is substhuted 1
in lieu thereof:
"The. period of performance for Task Order No. 28 is from November 7. 1996 through March 30, 1998."

The issuance of this modification does not amend any other terms and h
conditions of the subject-task order, including the ceiling amount of
