Attached for your review and approval are the relief request.s and an attemative plan associated with the Third Ten Year Interval inservice Testing (IST) Program for the Peacn Bottom Atomic I
Power Station (PDAPS), Units 2 and 3. Also included for your information, in accordance with the ASME Code (ISTA 1.4(c)), is a copy of the complete IST program for the third interval. This l
program has been developed in accordance with ASME OM Code-1990. The basis for use of this version the ASME OM Code is included for your review and approval as an alternative plan j
(GVRR-3), in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55a(3)(i).
The current second interval dates are as follows:
PBAPS, Unit 2 - September 19,1986 to November 4,1997 l
PBAPS, Unit 3 - December 23,1985 to November 4,1997.
The third interval dates are as follows:
PBAPS, Units 2 and 3 - November 5,1997 to November 4,2007.
Base on the conclusion date of the current second interval, which is scheduled to occur on November 4,1997, we request your review and approval by September 1,1997.
