This is in response to your letter dated February 24, 1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), a copy of the proposal submitted in response to the FY1985 Small Business Innovative Research Program by Expert-EASE Systems, Inc., entitled "Use of Workstation and Expert Systems Technologies to Facilitate Development and Evaluation of Fault Trees."

In a telephone conversation between you and David Meyer of iny staff on March 19, 1986, you agreed to accept a nonproprietary version of the successful proposal. The proposal you requested, as described on the enclosed appendix, is now available for public inspection and copying at the NRC Public Document Room in file F01A-86-111 under your name.
