BAILEY SOLID STATE LOGIC MODULE TELECON OF FEBRUARY 19, 1986 HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 As a result of the telephone conversation between representatives of Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) and the NRC on February 19, 1986 pertaining to the Bailey 862 Solid State Logic Modules (SSLM) surveillance' test program as documented in letter from C.A. McNeill (PSE&G) to E.
Adensam (NRC) dated February 14, 1986, PSE&G notes.the following revision to the SSLM surveillance test program frequency.
PSE&G will test 100% of the total test population of 577 Bailey 862 SSLMs during each cycle of operation.
A minimum number of 5% per month of these modules will be tested.
l Testing will commence at the issuance of a full power license an3 continue until such time as sufficient statistical data is obtained to verify the reliability of the Bailey 862 SSLMs.
At such time, PSE&G will petition the NRC for relief from performing continued testing of the SSLMs.
