Dear Mr. Crow:
GA Technologies Inc. (GA) previously submitted its plan for obtaining re-lease of certain portions of its site to unrestricted use (Ref.1).
Ac-cording to the plan, the decontamination effort and the NRC confirmatory surveys of the principal area to be released are to be performed in two phases. GA's decontamination effort and final survey of the phase I area has been completed. Enclosed, for your information, are three copies of the final report (Ref. 2) documenting the Phase I decontamination tasks i
and the results of GA's final survey.
Three copies of this report are also being sent,, under separate cover, to Mr. R. D. Thomas of NRC, Region V.
Arrangements for NRC confirmatory sur-veys will be made through Mr. Thomas' office.
