Dear Mr. Mcdonald:
Chem-Nuclear Systems, Inc. requests a change to Certificate of Compliance 9168 to allow the use of a Parker 1/4 inch 0-ring or equivalent of a 70 + 0, -10
(
durometer.
The 0-ring groove specified in Detail C of CNSI Drawing C-Il0-E-007 (NP) Rev. C is sized to the dimensions given in the design table of the Parker 0-ring Reference Guide.
Due to a drafting error, a 0.250 inch value was given rather than the 0.275 + 0.006 inch actual dimension of the l
Parker 1/4" gasket. The tolerance vallie was also left off of the durometer l
rating.
I This request supercedes the request of February 26, 1986, for a gasket size change.
A new revision of the drawing CNSI C-110-E-007 will oc forwarded to your office within 10 days with the above changes.
