This will acknowledge receipt of your letter dated June 9,1997 and your check for $55,000 in payment for the civil penalty imposed by NRC in a letter dated May 9, 1997. Your corrrective actions will be reviewed during future inspections. We note,
however, that your tesponse did not directly address what corrective actions you are taking to preclude such nonconservative operability and licensing decisions. We assume this concern is being addressed as part of your True North program. If our understanding is incorrect, please contact Pat Gwynn, Region IV.
