SALP SCHEDULE, TMI-1 This revises my December 3, 1985 memorandum as it pertains to the TMI-1 SALP.
The schedule will be as follows:

Report TMI-1 9/16/85-4/30/86 5/9/86 6/9/86 6/30/86 7/31/86 The change involves an extension of one month from the previous schedule, which is needed to allow us to incorporate Performance Appraisal Team findings (report expected April 30) as directed by the Commission.
The SALP Board's report must be available for Commission review by June 30.
If the report is changed as a result of the management meeting discussions or the licensee's written response, the revised report will also be made available.
The TMI-1 PAT and SALP are currently being tracked as a " Commission Tracking Report" item with a due date of May 30 and IE as the responsible office. We understand, based on discussions between William Kane and James Partlow, that IE will revise the SALP due date to June 30.
Additionally, this SALP will build upon the assessments already done in NRC Region I's recently completed interim SALP, which assessed restart period activities (9/16/85 - 1/10/86) in selected functional areas.
Specifically, for the functional areas that were addressed in the interim SALP, inputs and the SALP I report will focus on the post-restart period (1/11/86 - 4/30/86).
The interim SALP assessment will be incorporated by reference, and the SALP board will deve %o an overview and performance ratings applicable to the entire period.
For those functional areas not addressed in the interim SALP (Licensing, Emergency Preparedness, Security, and Outage Management / Technical Support), the SALP I report will address the entire period and stand on its own.
