Modification No. 1 to Contract No. NRC-04-96-069 entitled " Technical Assistance for the New Thermal-Hyclraulics Code Planning"
Dear Dr. Orszag:
The subject contract expired on September 30, 1996, and we are initiating closecut action.
However, pending completion of all required closecut requirements, it is necessary to deobligate excess funds remaining under this contract for other immediate agency requirements.
Therefore, enclosed for your review and execution are three (3) signed copies of the. :bject modification deobligating excess funds in the amount of $4,108.00.
Please have an apprcoriate official sign all three (3) copies and return two (2) copies to the address below within ten (10) days from date of this letter.
You should retain one (1) fully executed copy for your files.

TherefoFe the purpose of this modification is to decrease the amount obligated by the Commission, as follows:
