I We are pleased that Gary Gcidbeig, General Engineer, will be able to perform a 6-month rotational assignment to the incident Response Division in the Office for Analysis and Evaluation of Operational Data. This rotation will benefit both NRC and DOE by allowing sharing of information, exchange of ideas, and mutual attention to interface issues between our organizations.

j During this period, Mr. Goldberg will report to Rosemary. Hogan, Chief, Response Coordination Section. His duties will include assisting the emergency response transition associated with the gaseous diffusion plants, integrating the response activities of NRC and DOE, serving as a member of our response organization, planning and participating in exercises, coordinating activities with other Federal agencies and NRC program offices, revising procedures to better implement the emergency response organization, and' preparing responses to controlled correspondence.
