Dear Mr. DeAgazio:

As you are well aware, Toledo Edison is involved in an aggressive restart effort. This effort has required the involvement of off-shift licensed individuals, due to their operational expertise, in areas outside of their normal job responsibilities.

The administ rative procedure that describes our requalification training program, AD 1828.15, requires licensed individuals not assigned to the Operations Department to stand 24 hours2.777778e-4 days
0.00667 hours
3.968254e-5 weeks
9.132e-6 months
of watch in the plant every three months. Due to the involvement of these key individuals in the various restart efforts, we intend to reduce this requirement for the first quarter of this year to eight hours of watch in the plant. The reduction of this requirement will apply to the first quarter of 1986 only.

Sincerely, Me
