Operating License No. OPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Technical Specification Change Request No.116, Rev.1, Supplement II Additional InforTation on Debris Screens On December 3,1984, GPUN submitted Supplenunt II to Technical Specification Change Request No.116, Rev.1.
We cerxnitted to submit a Tech. Spec. Change Request, if necessary, to revise the purge isolation valve open position limits within a year af ter issuance of the amendment associated with Tech.
Spec. Change Request No.116, Rev.1 Artendront 109, issued May 8,1985, approved Tech. Spec. Change Request No.116, Rev.1.
We have determined that a Tech. Spec. Change Request will not be necessary.
The debris screen that is presently being designed and scheduled for installation during the Cycle 6 outage will not af f ect the open position limits of the containment purge isolation valve.
The flow area of the screen is such that during LOCA concitions, the air velocity through the screen is still well below critical limits.
