Dear Mr. Smith:

On May 1,1997, the NRC administered a retake initial operating examination to one employee l
of your company, who had applied for a reactor operator (RO) license for the Limerick Generating station.
l The result of the examination is that the applicant passed his examination and was issued a license. No generic weaknesses from this examination were identified.
In accordance with.10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
