Packaging (1) fiodel flo.: LA-36 (2) Description A fissile uranium shipping container consisting of two 5-gallon DOT Specification 17H pails, 11.25" ID, with lug-type closure contained in a 12-1/2" 0.D. x 30" 0.ll inner container which is centered ar.d supported within a 65-gallon,16-gage, steel drum built to DOT Specification 1711 by 0.25-inch diameter spring steel rod spacers.

Void space between inner container and outer drun is filled with vermiculite.

The gross weight of the package is about 200 pounds.

(3) Drawings The packaging is constructed in accordance with flUMEC Drawing's 10-D-ll6S, Rev. 5, and ASK-ll39-B.
