Modification No. 1 Page 2 of 2 The purpose of this modification is to 3rovide (1) a within scope change which shall be performed in accordance with t1e attached Statement of Work and the contractor's technical proposal dated 03/05/97, and (2) increase the contract l

ceiling and obligated amounts by $4.421 from $122.651 to $127.072.

The attached Statement of Work is hereby incorporated as part of Section C.6. Work Requirements, of the contract.

Under Section B.3. Consideration and Obligation--Cost Reimbursement (JUN 1988), paragraphs (a) and (b) are deleted in their entirety and the following paragraphs are substituted in lieu thereof:

"(a) The total estimated cost to the Government for full performance under this contract is $127.072.

(b) The amount obligated by the Government with respect to this contract is $127.072."

A summary of obligations for this contract, from award date through the date of this action, are given below:

l WITHIN SCOPE MODIFICATION FOR CONTRACT RES-96-059 JCN NO. W6454. Revision of Anchorage Criteria l

Modify contract as noted below:

Under Task 1 - Review of Current Anchorage Guidelines I

It was orignally anticipated that NRC could supply all the necessary documents for contractor review.

However, the NRC does not have all the necessary documents. Therefore the contractor must purchase industry codes, standards.

and reports, as needed for the review of current anchorage guidelines.

Task 2 - Review of Test Data Additional within scope effort is needed on the review of test data.

The contractor shall also develop design recommendations for anchorages used at i

edge distances less than those addressed by the current codes.
