Dear Mr. Perkey:
This is in response to your letter dated February 10, 1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), selected information on NRC contracts with national laboratories from 1979 to the present.
In a telephone confersation between you and David Meyer of my staff and Charles Beckwith, Office of Resource Management, on February 13, 1986, you agreed that the NRC's controller budget system reports as described to you in this conversation would be responsive to your request. These reports, identified on the enclosed appendix, are now available for public inspection and copying at the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) in file folder F01A-86-83 under your name.
For your assistance, the staff noted that the financial amounts are listed as
" FIN PLAN," and represent the individual NRC office's plan for use of their T
program support funding for the fiscal year concerned. The data are sorted by:
(1) DOE Operations Office, (2) individual laboratory, (3) NRC tasking office, and (4) individual Financial Identification Number (FIN) within each grouping.
For several of the years, the listings were only available for an internal date within the year, and not available as of the end of the fiscal year.
