Washington, D. C. 20555 VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT TRANSFER OF NPDES PERMIT Gentlemen:
Please find enclosed a copy of a document received from the State of Georgia Environmental Protection Division approving the transfer of the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant NPDES Permit (No. GA0026786) from Georgia Power Company to Southem Nuclear Operating Company. The permit transfer was requested in conjunction with the reassignment of the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Facility Operating License from Georgia Power Company to Southem Nuclear Operating Company.
This submittal is made in accordance with Section 3.2 of the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Environmental Protection Plan, Appendix B to Facility Operating License No. NPF-68.
