UPDATED FINAL SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT (UFSAR), AMENDMENT 14 Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.71(e) (4), TVA is submitting Amendment 14 of the BFN UFSAR.
Amendment 14 is a five-month voluntary update'from Amendment 13, which was submitted by TVA letter, dated October 22, 1996.
Amendment 14 reflects changes to the site that occurred between the period of April 24, 1996 (start of Unit 2 cycle 9 operation) to January 10, 1997.
Amendment 14 also incorporates the resolution of a number of discrepancies identified as a result of BFN's ongoing UFSAR Validation Program.
TVA has been proactive in addressing the area of UFSAR accuracy, consistency with design bases, procedures and operating practices.
BFN is continuing to review the UFSAR, evaluate the identified discrepancies, and prepare the required changes to the UFSAR.
TVA will issue Amendment 15 to the UFSAR in approximately six months to ensure that NRC and the public have the updated material from ongoing reviews OS3 available in a timely manner.
