Dear Dr. Jackson:
Congratulations on your recent appointment as Chairperson. It is with renewed i
hope that I send you this message. Louisiana Energy Services (LES) is psoposing a uranium enrichment plant that threatens the land, air and water quality of Forest Grove and Center Springs, Louisiana.
I believe that this facility is dangerous and totally unnecessary. Furthermore, the siting of this facility between two low income African-American communities is a clear example of environmental racism and sets a dangerous precedent for j
other low income communities of color.
