The Commission

• met with the Advisory Panel for the Decontami-nation of Three Mile Island Unit 2 to obtain the Panel's report on the cleanup activities at TMI-2 and related matters.

Chairman Palladino requested that each Commissioner submit his vote on the substance of SECY-85-153 (a proposal to provide non-public information to the Panel). The Chairman further requested that each Commissioner provide to the Office of the Secretary views on the proposed guidelines the Panel would follow in considering the results of studies on health effects related to the release of radionuclides during the TMI-2 accident. The proposed guidelines were submitted to the Commission in the letter of Panel Chairman Arthur Morris to Chairman Palladino, dated June 4, 1985.

Chairman Palladino further requested that OGC prepare a draft of an amendment to the TMI-2 Advisory Panel Charter for consideration by the Commission which would authorize the Panel to provide advice to the Commission on the public's acceptance of plans and the results of studies and reviews deriving from Federal, state and TMI Public Health Fund efforts regarding the TMI-2 accident.

(Subsequently, the General Counsel pr'ovided a proposed amendment to the TMI-2 Advisory Panel Charter to the Commission by memorandum dated June 25, 1985.) .
