Enclosed please find a petition, pursuant to Section 2.206, Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). The Prairie Island Indian Community is petitioning the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to review the procedure developed by Northern States Power (NSP) to unload a Transnuclear dry cask (TN-40) in use at the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant.
We strongly believe the issues we are raising in this petition are worthy of immediate consideration by the Commission.
