r lNFORMATION FOR COMPLETING NRC TRAINING MANUALS REQUEST FORM i
i i
Before requesting.any manuals, please read the following:
1 The NRC/OAS Training Working Group is currently developing " essential elements" of training courses which will' assist States to determine the equivalency of commerciall/
available or in-house training relative to the training which is offered by the NRC. The final
)
report of this Working Group is expected to be issued this year.
The TTD Course Catalog provides a description of all NRC sponsored technical courses.
You may use the TTD Catalog to complete the attached request form. Some manuals are not available for distribution because NRC does not own the rights to the training manuals.
In the interest of conservation of resources, please request only those manuals which are I
essential to the accomplishment of your mission. Before requesting a copy of any manual, you might wish to first determine if one of your personnel has recently attended the course (e.g., within the past year). If so, then you may already have a copy of the manual which you can use to generate additional copies.
We will ship manuals after questionnaires have been returned from all States so that we can more efficiently arrange for reproduction of the requested manuals. It may require several months to reproduce and' ship the manuals depending on the number requested.
Only one copy of each manual requested will be shipped to each Agreement State or i
Agreement State program organization.
DISCLAIMER:
The NRC does not assume any responsibility for the quality of the training received using these manuals. The NRC is unable to provide i
routine updates to the manuals.
Upon completion, return the enclosed request form by mail to:
Stephen N. Salomon Office of State Programs Mail Stop: 0-3-H-20 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555-0001 or FAX to:
