Dear Mr. Noonan:
Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3 Supplement I to NUREG-0737 Control Room Design Review Condition 13 in Section 2.C of the Facility Operating 1.icensing NPF-49 for Millstone Unit No. 3 requires that Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) correct all human engineering discrepancies (HEDs) not resolved prior to exceeding 5% power in accordance with the schedule specified in Reference (2).
NNECO indicated in Reference (2) that corrective measures would be completed by February 28, 1986 for HED TA-090 and the HEDs relating to scales. In addition, we committed to correct HED TA-008 by April 30,1986.
The purpose of this letter is to confirm that HED TA-090 and the HEDs relating to scales were corrected by February 28, 1986 as required by the stated license condition. HED TA-003 remains scheduled to be completed by April 30,1986,at which time the license condition will be fully satisfied.
